Black Shadow Motorcycle Gang + travels

This began as an exercise in perspective. I couldn't help taking it further :)
Also, some pictures from my road trip with Fred, Phil and Paul.

Our little Mazda 3 trucking along on the unmaintained road at Monument Valley.

The Grand Canyon with a top coat of snow. Absolutely gorgeous!

A stop to catch the sunset at the Trading Post.

Lake Powell.

Lately I've been working on a project with Fred Stewart based on the book, River of Doubt.
It's about Theodore Roosevelt's lust for glory and power. I'm illustrating his dreams of Xanadu. Here are some pieces featuring Kublai Khan!

More to come soon :)
Meanwhile, these fantastic pieces are done by Fred!

I'm off on a road trip to Taos, New Mexico! Follow me on Instagram at #etelois to see the sights :)
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Helios + Chibiusa

I finished the fourth season of Sailor Moon. Rini and Helios are my favorite anime couple! "Twinkle yell!"

It's been a while since I've posted. This year has been so busy. Here's my post for last month's Travisty's Beard.

Here was my contribution to Qpop's Umi show.

This is my piece for Qpop's Monkey King show. It's the current exhibition so you can find more info here.

Some of my prints are also on sale now at Gallery Nucleus in gilcee on watercolor paper. My biker girls are together as a set. Here's the link.

They are also selling this piece here.

Lastly, I will be a APE this year with Frederic Stewart. We'll be at table 128. Hope to see you there!

Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful summer.

I've been so busy lately, I haven't been able to post very often. Here's a little of what I have worked on.
A Picture Book project for a local pre-school, that I fondly call Watermelon Boy
Super fun experience!
For the kids :)

Sound of summer.

My contribution to Matt Jone's Ronald Searle in America
An amazing collection of work to be auctioned to fund a Searle exhibition in the Cartoon Art Museum. Check it out!

My contribution to Gallery Nucleus's, Yesterday's Tomorrow show.

I also got the chance to work on something very different recently.
I teamed up with lovely friends, Lana, Agnes and Gil to work on the look of Agnes and Sun. Lana had asked me to design and model for their summer lookbook. It was a marriage of design, photography and fashion...some of my favorite things! My head is still spinning from the experience. Huge thanks to everyone involved! Check out her shop at!

Lastly, I've gotten alot of questions about where I get my prints done. I primarily print with Catprint
It's a great little shop in New York run by people who love cats!

Side things

Some work for the children's hospital.

I visited my good chums, Aidan and Jake in New York recently with Fred and met a lovely Sandeep.
One of the highlights of our trip was Sleep No More, an incredible
retelling of Macbeth in the 1930's. The experience was like a wonderful nightmare.
Some process work.

I've been fortunate enough to take a comics class taught by Rad at PDI.
It's been super motivating to get my projects together and start flushing things out. I'm currently
working on a comic about Beijing. Here are some sketches of one of my characters.

Game of Thrones. 3 conniving Cerseis. What a monster of a woman! I love to hate her.
2 Harley quickies.

And one type treatment.

More soon!
